1 Person Dead in Tempe Auto Accident on Loop 202 near Scottsdale Road
TEMPE, AZ (November 5, 2024) – Sunday morning, Rachel Marie Moss died in a tragic vehicle crash on Loop 202 near Scottsdale Road.
The incident happened on westbound Loop 202 near Scottsdale Road.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a gray Ford passenger vehicle struck a gray Audi passenger vehicle, a gray Honda SUV, and two people who were outside their vehicles after an earlier crash.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver of the Audi, identified as 55-year-old Moss of Chandler, died in the crash. Then, paramedics rushed one person to a hospital with serious injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the DPS continued investigating the crash.
