Rachel M Gorman Dies in Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5
Vancouver, WA (August 7, 2020) – On Wednesday, 44-year-old Rachel M Gorman from Vancouver died in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
Washington State Patrol said the crash happened south of the State Route 500 ramp, north of Fourth Plain Boulevard.
WSP said Gorman and two other drivers were traveling south on I-5 in the number one lane when the accident happened.
Authorities said one of the drivers was following the vehicle too close and was distracted while driving to be the cause of the accident.
Police confirmed Gorman dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, crews blocked the right and center lanes of southbound I-5 while they were on the scene.
