2 People in Custody in Fort Worth Auto Accident on US 287 near Village Creek Road
FORT WORTH, TX (November 12, 2024) – Monday morning, authorities arrested Rachel Hadley after a disastrous DUI crash on US 287.
The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on US 287 near Village Creek Road.
According to the Fort Worth Police, a Ford Escape SUV driven by 26-year-old Hadley, who had been drinking, crashed into a construction barrier.
Then, a construction pickup truck stopped, and a man exited the vehicle to help the driver of the SUV. Also, a third vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu, struck the pickup truck, and the Good Samaritan was thrown in the air during the collision.
Moreover, responders transported the Good Samaritan to a hospital with minor injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested 26-year-old Hadley for DWI and the driver of the Chevrolet Malibu for Intoxication Assault.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
Due to limited information, the Fort Worth Police continued investigating the crash.
