Rachael Valentine Dead Following Oxnard Accident on C and Eighth Street

 
Oxnard, CA (February 06, 2021) – On Thursday, Rachael Valentine, 29, suffered fatal injuries in a major two-vehicle crash on 8th Street.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 9:42 p.m. at the intersection with C Street.
 
Authorities said a 2002 GMC Envoy driven by a 30-year-old female from Port Hueneme crashed with a 2005 Ford Focus driven by a 29-year-old female from Oxnard.
 
Prior to the accident, the Ford Focus was moving northbound on C Street, and the GMC Envoy was moving westbound on 8th Street.
 
Then, the GMC Envoy entered the intersection and traveled into the path of the oncoming Ford Focus.
 
Both vehicles traveled towards the intersection and then came to a stop next to a sidewalk.
 
Both drivers sustained serious injuries. Right away, rescuers took them to Ventura County Medical Center.
 
Moreover, the 30-year-old female is now in stable condition, while the 29-year-old female succumbed to her injuries.
 
The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Oxnard resident Ms. Valentine.
