Qun He Fatally Injured after Anaheim Train Accident at Esperanza Road and Imperial Highway
ANAHEIM, CA (November 11, 2019) – A 46-year-old Anaheim man identified as Qun He died in a train accident on Saturday, November 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 9:18 a.m. at Esperanza Road and Imperial Highway. Metrolink stated that a BNSF freight train in Yorba Linda struck him. He succumbed to his fatal injuries at the scene.
It was not immediately determined what He was doing on or the tracks.
Metrolink said that they closed the tracks between the Anaheim Canyon and West Corona stations. It affected the Inland Empire/OC, 91 and Orange County lines. The tracks reopened at around 12:30 p.m.
The investigation about the incident is still ongoing.
