1 Killed in Stockton Suspected DUI Incident near Pershing Avenue and Middlefield Avenue
STOCKTON, CA (January 5, 2021) – Thursday, authorities arrested Quinton Hopkins, and a man died in a DUI crash near Pershing Avenue.
According to Stockton police, the two-vehicle crash happened at around 11:50 p.m.
Moreover, it happened near Pershing Avenue and Middlefield Avenue.
Responders transported a 65-year-old male passenger from one of the vehicles to an area hospital.
Even so, he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities also transported the driver of the other vehicle, Quinton Hopkins, 34, to an area hospital. The suspect sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Reports revealed that after evaluations, Hopkins was determined to be under the influence when the incident happened.
Consequently, officers arrested Hopkins on suspicion of DUI.
