1 Arrested in Hollywood Auto Accident on Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilton Place
HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 29, 2021) – Tuesday night, an ambulance responded after a police pursuit crash on Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilton Place.
The authorities received a report of a stolen Amazon truck in the 1800 block of Whitley Avenue. Then, they started chasing the vehicle at about 5:45 p.m., said Officer Jeff Lee, a Los Angeles police spokesperson.
Eventually, the truck crashed near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilton Place, Lee added.
A footage revealed that the crash involved a gray Toyota sedan. The vehicle sustained a smashed-up front-end, primarily on the passenger side. Meanwhile, the truck didn’t sustain any significant damage.
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested a male suspect from the scene.
Also, the officers requested an ambulance for the driver of the other vehicle. However, they haven’t clarified the extent of the injuries.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
