Primitivo Martinez of Moreno Valley Fatally Struck on Box Springs Road [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (October 13, 2021) – On October 11, Primitivo Martinez, a 69-year-old Moreno Valley man, suffered fatal injuries in Box Springs Road accident.

The deadly accident took place about 7:22 a.m. east of Clark Street.

Officers said Martinez was crossing the street when a tow truck that was turning left struck him. 

Rescuers rushed Martinez to a hospital, where he died.

Meanwhile, the authorities said that intoxication did not appear to factor into the fatal incident. They also said that the tow truck driver’s vision was reported to have been obstructed by sunlight.

Moreover, the crash took place at an intersection with no marked crosswalks.
