39-Year-Old Man Arrested after Arlington Accident on 127th Drive NE and Highway 92

 
ARLINGTON, WA (September 8, 2022) – Tuesday, a pregnant woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 127th Drive NE and Highway 92.
 
The incident started at around 4:00 p.m. after authorities received a report of a hit-and-run crash.
 
When the deputy arrived, they found the suspect taking up both lanes and drove the wrong direction on Highway 92 in a black 2003 Mercedes Benz. As the deputy turned around and followed the Mercedes Benz, the suspect vehicle increased its speed.
 
As the pursuit became too dangerous, the deputy ended it.
 
After several minutes, responders came to a second hit-and-run a few miles away at Highway 92 and Highway 9. Then, they responded ten minutes later to a five-vehicle collision in the 9300 block of Highway 9.

Afterward, the suspect’s vehicle rolled onto its roof. However, the suspect went out and went into another vehicle, a 2002 Subaru Impreza, from a pregnant woman. As a result, she sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
 
Arlington Police Department officers and sheriff’s deputies spotted the suspect driving south on 91st Avenue NE.
 
Eventually, an Arlington police officer utilized a pursuit intervention technique to stop the vehicle. However, the driver managed to escape but a second pursuit intervention technique succeeded.
 
Finally, responders managed to take the suspect into custody.
 
He’s currently facing one count each of reckless driving, driving under the influence, and possession of a stolen vehicle, as well as two counts of hit-and-run from an injury crash.
