Pregnant Woman Injured in Car Collision on Monroe Street [Riverside, CA]

Woman Hospitalized after 2-Car Crash in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 20, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, a pregnant woman and her unborn child were injured in a car collision on Monroe Street.
 
According to the Riverside Police Department, the accident occurred around 5:00 AM near Copenhagen Road.
 
As per reports, a blue Toyota Corolla was traveling south on Monroe Street. At the same time, a gray Toyota Camry was driving east on Copenhagen Road. While the Camry attempted to make a left turn, it collided with the Corolla.
 
Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported the pregnant woman from the Corolla to Riverside Community Hospital. She was suffering from serious injuries to her unborn child. Their current medical conditions are unclear at this time.
 
The identity of the victims have not yet been released to the public.
