Riverside Crash Injures Woman’s Unborn Child
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 25, 2019) – A pregnant woman was hospitalized following a crash in Riverside Wednesday early morning. Officials said that the crash happened just after 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, at Monroe Street and Copenhagen Road.
A 33-year-old Riverside resident was driving a blue Toyota Corolla while a 24-year-old Riverside resident was driving a gray Toyota Camry. The Corolla was heading south on Monroe Street while the Camry was eastbound on Copenhagen Road when the crash occurred.
A police statement said that the pregnant female passenger of the blue Corolla was transported to Riverside Community Hospital and is suffering from serious injuries to the unborn child.
