1 Injured in Humboldt County Auto Accident on Highway 101
HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA (August 25, 2020) – Last Wednesday, a pregnant woman was hospitalized after the 3-car crash on Highway 101.
Due to the crash, the traffic was stalled for at least five to six miles on southbound Highway 101.
The Humboldt Bay Fire’s captain said that the crash involved four people.
Thus, the authorities shut down the road during the clearing up operation.
However, the road has since reopened and the officers said that the involved parties will survive.
Furthermore, the crash remains under active investigation.
To avoid being involved in an accident, one must practice safe driving habits on the road at all times. Also, do it even when it is empty. Moreover, practice it even when there is no police officer around to make sure you make a complete stop.
Knowing How to Deal With a Serious Car Accident
The truth is, roadways, while scrupulously created and mapped for efficient travel, are one of the most dangerous settings. As a driver, it is valuable to know what to do if you get involved in a motor vehicle accident.
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer fighting on behalf of the injured party.
“Having an experienced attorney fighting on your behalf at such a delicate time in your life will make all the difference,” explains Mark.
