Motorist Stuck in Vehicle after Collision near Smokey Bear Road
LEBEC, CA (January 22, 2019) – A pregnant woman was airlifted after a crash on southbound 5 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 9:18 PM, near the Smokey Bear Road on-ramp. Based on their report, a gray Toyota sedan crashed against the center divider and landed at the wrong way.
A pregnant woman was stuck in the car. The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. A helicopter was used to take the woman to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
A clearing operation was conducted by the authorities. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
