Power Pole Knocked Down in Bakersfield Car Crash
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 17, 2019) – A power interruption occurred after a car crash on Bristol Avenue on December 13.
The incident occurred after midnight on the 3000-block of Bristol Avenue. A white Ford F150 driver traveling west on Day Street drove off the roadway.
The driver then struck a power pole and then drove into a yard and crashed into a house. No one sustained any injuries but the house had minor damage.
The collision led the power pole to snap and caused power interruption to 1950 customers.
