Cajon Pass, CA (March 29, 2023) On Sunday, a suspected DUI crash on Interstate 15 led to multiple people going to the hospital.

CHP says that the rear-end crash happened on I-15, just before the Oak Hill Road exit at about 10:19 p.m.

According to reports, a suspected drunk driver crashed his white lifted Dodge Ram into the back of a silver Honda Odyssey.

Officials say that the northbound Honda had 2 adults and 6 children inside, while the Dodge had 2 male adult occupants.

The impact of the crash sent both vehicles to the right shoulder, both vehicles had major damages. Multiple ambulances responded to the scene.

Officials say that all occupants of the Honda were transported to the hospital with varying degrees of injuries.

Meanwhile, both the driver and passenger of the Dodge truck did not suffer injuries.

Afterward, CHP arrested the Dodge driver for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Authorities are investigating the rear-end crash and have not provided further details about the suspected DUI crash.
