Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Pickup-Truck Accident on Reservoir Street

 
POMONA, CA (March 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured following a collision on 60 Freeway early Wednesday evening. Their identity has not been released.
 
The collision happened around 6:02 p.m., on the eastbound lanes of the highway. First responders arrived to the scene near Reservoir Street after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a civilian motorcycle and a pickup-truck collided for unknown reasons. Multiple lanes of the highway were obstructed as a result of the accident.
 
According to reports, paramedics transported the motorcyclist by ambulance to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for further treatment. Reports indicate the victim was suffering from moderate injuries upon medics arrival, due to the impact of the collision. No immediate information was provided about the pickup-truck driver’s condition.
 
No officials reports have been disclosed stating what caused the crash or how exactly it transpired. Authorities are currently looking further into the incident to determine liability.
