Hit-and-Run Crash on East Washington Street, Suspect at Large

Petaluma, CA (August 21, 2021) – Officers are looking for a hit-and-run suspect after a crash that occurred on East Washington Street on Thursday. 

According to the report, the incident happened on August 19 on East Washington Street near Washington Square Shopping Center. 

Petaluma police said that a man on a motorcycle struck another vehicle at the Chevron station and immediately fled the scene. 

Based on the released photos of the motorcyclist, the suspect was a man and was wearing a green military helmet. Furthermore, he was wearing a dark blue shirt and dark pants. 

Moreover, officers confirmed that the suspect also collided with another vehicle before fleeing into the shopping center. 

Police are asking anyone who might have information regarding the incident to contact the Petaluma Police Department at 707-778-4372.
