Police Still Searching for Driver Involved in Police Pursuit Collision
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 17, 2019) —Authorities are looking for the driver that escaped following a police pursuit crash on Thursday, May 16.
The pursuit started around 2:45 a.m. and ended near Home Avenue on 805 Freeway. The driver collided into a guardrail, then fled, according to police.
As of 6 a.m., police were still searching the area for the suspect.
Officers said that the suspect may be armed with a weapon after discovering shotgun shells in the vehicle.
There were no reports of injuries after the incident.
