Officer Involved in Fontana Car Crash

 
FONTANA, CA (December 27, 2019) – A Fontana Police Department officer got involved in a car crash on Foothill Boulevard on December 20.
 
At around 1:16 p.m., the patrol vehicle and a Toyota SUV crashed in the No. 1 lane and the left turn lane in the 16800 block of Foothill Boulevard in Fontana.
 
The two vehicles both traveled in the eastbound lanes of Foothill, west of Sierra Avenue when the crash happened.
 
The crash led the driver side airbag being deployed in the patrol vehicle. No one sustained injuries in the crash.
 
The Fontana Police Department is currently investigating the collision.
 
Staying within the lanes of the road is an extremely important rule of the road.
