Visalia Police Officer Dale Rush Hospitalized After Getting Struck by Vehicle in Highway 198 Crash
Fresno, CA (August 5, 2020)– On Monday morning, a crash happened on Highway 198 left a police officer Dale Rush hospitalized.
The crash took place on August 3 just before 8 a.m. on Highway 198 at the Ben Maddox off-ramp. Reports showed that Rush was pulling a car over during a traffic stop when an oncoming vehicle struck him.
The man driving the vehicle failed to stop and eventually lost control of his vehicle. Thus, it crashed into the trailer connected to the car that Rush was pulling over.
As a result, Dale Rush sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatments.
Meanwhile, the identity of the driver involved has not been released. Furthermore, the investigation remains on-going.
