Police Investigate Motorcycle Crash on 110 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Crash on 110 Freeway, Damages Several Cars 

Los Angeles, CA (May 30, 2024) – A man experiencing homelessness allegedly threw rocks and caused a crash on 110 Freeway.

The entire incident was captured on camera. Dramatic footage shows the suspect hurling rocks onto the northbound side of the 110 Freeway from the shoulder near 23rd Street around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.

One of the rocks struck a passing motorcyclist, causing the rider to crash. Fortunately, officials reported that the motorcyclist avoided serious injuries.

 After the crash, the suspect was seen walking away eastbound on 23rd Street from Figueroa Street.

The rock-throwing incident also resulted in multiple flat tires, with at least two drivers pulling over on the shoulder to wait for roadside assistance. 

The suspect remains at large, last seen heading east on 23rd Street from Figueroa Street.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact (424) 551-4000.
