Police Pursuit Leads to Crash in Anaheim Car Accident
ANAHEIM, CA (January 29, 2019) – A police chase led to a dangerous PIT maneuver that sent the pursuit car colliding into two vehicles stopped at a red light in Anaheim on January 27.
The driver eluded the police several times while they try to perform a PIT maneuver, which would spin out a car to prevent the suspect from escaping.
After several attempts, a police vehicle drove close to the pursuit vehicle and performed a dangerous PIT maneuver that led the pursuit vehicle crashing into two cars parked at a red light on West Ball Road and Gilbert Street.
The collision ended the pursuit while the driver surrendered around 9:54 p.m.
It is still unknown whether the occupants of the two vehicles hit by the pursuit vehicle suffered injuries.
