Suspect Arrested in North Hollywood Car Accident
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 28, 2019) — A police chase caused by the driver of an alleged stolen car led police on a chase on January 25 from Pacoima to North Hollywood.
It was around 12:15 a.m. when the authorities noticed the silver Acura Integra with paper plates near San Fernando Road and Montague Street and the driver didn’t halt. This act resulted to a police chase south on San Fernando Road before turning south onto Vineland Avenue where he crashed with another vehicle at Vineland Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard around 12:20 a.m., the LAPD revealed.
The suspect driver tried to escape and went off the vehicle but was immediately arrested on suspicion of felony evading. Meanwhile, a female passenger from the car was not detained.
There were no injuries reported in the crash. The identity of the suspect was not disclosed as of this time.
