Injuries Reported in Fullerton Auto Accident on N State College Boulevard
FULLERTON, CA (October 31, 2024) – Thursday night, a parolee was arrested after a startling police chase crash on N State College Boulevard.
The incident happened at 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of N State College Boulevard and Bastanchury Road.
A parolee accused of leading Anaheim Police on a pursuit that ended in a crash with a Toyota Prius in Fullerton is now in custody. The chase began in Anaheim and continued into Fullerton, concluding around 9 p.m. Thursday near Bastanchury Road and State College Boulevard, as reported by Anaheim Police Sgt. Matt Sutter.
The suspect attempted to flee the crash scene but was quickly apprehended after a brief struggle with officers. The woman driving the Prius was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange with her condition currently unknown. An officer involved in the struggle also sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The suspect’s name has not been disclosed, though he was reportedly on parole for robbery, according to Sutter.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
