Road Rage Leads to Crash on 680 Freeway in Pleasanton, Injuries and Damage Reported
PLEASANTON, CA (May 10, 2019) – At least one person was injured following a two-car crash Friday morning in Pleasanton.
Authorities responded around 7:33 a.m., on northbound 680 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived just south of Stoneridge Drive soon after.
According to reports, CHP officers located a blue Hyundai Tucson and a white BMW in the center divider upon arrival.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Hyundai sustained front-end damage, while the BMW had moderate rear-end damage.
At least one occupant was injured as a result of the collision. Paramedics eventually took the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Furthermore, both vehicles were towed away from the scene due to the extent of their damage.
No additional information has been provided at this time. The circumstances leading up to the collision still currently remain under investigation.
