Plane Crash on Southeast 228th Street Injures Two [Bothell, WA]

Two People Injured in Bothell Plane Crash

Bothell, WA (July 21, 2022) – On Tuesday evening, two people sustained injuries in a plane crash on Southeast 228th Street.

It was about 10:15 p.m. when the single-engine Zenith STOL CH701 headed to Paine Field in Everett crashed.

According to the investigators, the plane had complete engine failure. They say it hit high-tension power lines on its way down south of 45th Avenue Southeast near Miner’s Corner.

Luckily, no one on the ground sustained injuries.

Moreover, the paramedics took two people riding the plane to a hospital with minor injuries. Officers say they expect them to survive.

Officers also say that the dog riding the plane was okay.

In the meantime, the plane which sustained extensive damage is still on the road. The FAA is investigating the Bothell plane crash.
They say that it can take a year or more to complete the investigation.
