NSB Investigates San Diego Fatal Plane Accident

San Diego, CA (November 6, 2022) – On Saturday, a man lost his life following a plane crash at Montgomery Field.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department received the accident report at 11:50 a.m. and immediately responded to the crash scene.

According to the authorities, a man was on board when the plane crashed just minutes after taking off from Montgomery Field. 

The rescuers rushed the victim to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the City and County Hazmat teams cleaned a fuel spill on the field, though there was no fire or explosion at the time of the crash.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the San Diego fatal Plane accident.
