Fatal Solo-Vehicle Crash near Deer Park Road

San Diego, CA (February 18, 2023) On Thursday evening, a deadly accident on Pine Creek Road claimed the life of a driver and injured 4 people.

Authorities say that a 2009 Jeep Wrangler was involved in a fatal solo-vehicle crash near Deer Park Road at around 9:30 p.m.

Reports say that a 20-year-old San Diego man driving the jeep. The driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road and went off the road and overturned the Jeep.

Consequently, the crash ejected the San Diego man off the Jeep and died at the scene. Officials say that 2 28-year-old San Diego male passengers suffered mild to moderate injuries. Medics transported both men to a hospital.

Meanwhile, 2 other San Diego men suffered minor injuries due to the crash, medics treated both men at the scene.

Authorities ar investigating the fatal accident and have not released additional information at this time.
