Pima Road Solo-Vehicle Accident Results in Fatality [Scottsdale, AZ]

Scottsdale, AZ (February 14, 2023) On Monday a solo-vehicle accident on Pima Road killed a man and injured a woman.

Reports say that the deadly single-vehicle crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection with Downing Olsen Drive, near Loop 101.

Scottsdale Police says that a vehicle crashed into an embankment, and the crash caused serious injuries to at least 2 occupants of the vehicle.

First responders say that witnesses helped a woman out of the wreck, while a man was unconscious inside the vehicle. Paramedics transported both patients to a hospital, however, the man succumbed to his injuries and died.

Authorities are investigating the fatal solo-vehicle accident and have not released additional details at this time.
