Pilsoo Seong Struck and Killed by Car on 19th Street [San Francisco, CA]

69-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle at 19th Street and South Van Ness Avenue

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 31, 2019) – Authorities identified 69-year-old Pilsoo Seong as the pedestrian killed in an accident on 19th Street, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 3:25 PM. Seong was reportedly walking in the area when a vehicle hit her near South Van Ness Avenue.
 
Emergency responders rushed Seong to a local hospital with major injuries. Unfortunately, the victim died while undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fatal collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
