Pilot Travel Center Accident Kills Riverside Woman [Ellensburg, CA]

Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Semi-Truck in Ellensburg

Ellensburg, CA (August 17, 2022) – On Monday, a 65-year-old woman from Riverside sustained fatal injuries in a Pilot Travel Center accident.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 7:45 p.m. off of I-90, wherein the woman was run over by a big rig in the truck stop’s parking lot.

Immediately, the paramedics treated her at the scene and airlifted her to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she succumbed to her injuries.

The officers investigating the case say drugs nor alcohol were factors in the fatal collision. Though, they are investigating if anyone was at fault.

In the meantime, the authorities withheld the names of the deceased and the driver.
