Two Hospitalized after a Plane Crash in Riverside Municipal Airport

Riverside, CA (July 15, 2021) – Thursday morning, the pilot and the passenger of the single-engine Vans RV6A sustained injuries after their plane crashed at Riverside Municipal Airport.

The plane crash in Riverside happened just before 10 a.m. on July 15.

 According to the FAA, the single-engine Vans RV6A crashed just short of the runway and was left on its roof. 

Both the pilot and passenger were injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital, though their injuries did not appear to be serious.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board continue to further investigate the cause of the crash.
