Possible Vehicle Fire Reported in Collision near Century Boulevard
INGLEWOOD, CA (December 25, 2018) – A pickup truck was overturned in a crash on northbound 405 Freeway, Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:19 PM, near West Century Boulevard. Based on their report, the truck landed on its roof after colliding with a black vehicle and a white Lexus. It was not clear if it caught fire in the incident.
The driver of the truck was pulled out of the vehicle. The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding the victim’s condition.
A SigAlert was issued closing the HOV, No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes for an hour. Towing services were then requested for cleaning and clearing operations in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the rollover and possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
