Vehicle Crash in Goodyear Results in Injury

Goodyear, AZ (July 4, 2022) – On Sunday morning, a pickup truck driver sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10.

The two-vehicle collision took place on the westbound freeway past Dysart Road.

According to the investigators, a man driving a black pickup truck lost control of his vehicle and swerved across multiple lanes before resting within two lanes.

A good samaritan stopped and helped push the pickup truck out of the roadway. Suddenly, a gray car slammed into the rear corner of the truck.

As a result, the pickup truck driver was ejected from the vehicle. Then, the truck crashed into the median and started a fire.

The gray car’s driver ran away from the crash scene. Witnesses say the suspect is Hispanic male in thirties wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Immediately, the paramedics responded and took the pickup truck driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

In the meantime, the officers are searching for the suspect in the vehicle crash in Goodyear. Officers say criminal charges are pending for leaving the scene of an injury collision.
