TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (September 10, 2020) – Phillip Luckert, 68, died in a big rig and motorcycle crash on Highway 108 in Keystone.
 
According to reports, the incident occurred just before noon on Highway 108 near Rushing Hill Lookout Road.
 
The crash led to the closure of the eastbound outside lane and the wreckage and debris blocked the lane. As a result, traffic was stalled in the area.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities dispatched an ambulance to the scene. Unfortunately, the male victim succumbed to injuries due to the crash.
 
After an initial investigation, it seems as though the Mr. Luckert stopped to help another motorcyclist at the side of the rode.
 
When he began to pull out of the north shoulder to rejoin traffic, a big rig driven by Eric Roen struck him.
 
Due to limited information, the authorities continue to investigate the crash on Highway 108.
