Ezequiel Ceja Guzman Arrested in Fatal Ukiah Accident on Talmage Road

UKIAH, CA (December 23, 2021) – On Tuesday, Phillip Harrison, Ezequiel Guzman, and Jesus Nava-Sandoval sustained injuries in a deadly crash on Talmage Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the DUI accident happened on Talmage Road.

Reports revealed that a 2001 Chevy Malibu traveled erratically. Then, it veered across the opposite lane in the path of a westbound 2019 Ford Fusion. Afterward, the right front of the Chevy struck the right front side of the Ford.

Moreover, responders rushed to the scene and extricated the Ford driver, 38-year-old Phillip Harrison. They also freed the Chevy driver, Ezequiel Guzman, and 32-year-old Jesus Nava-Sandoval. Then, paramedics transported the three to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, officials confirmed that one person died in the crash.

Meanwhile, officers believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash.

Apparently, Ukiah man Ezequiel Ceja Guzman, 35, is being charged with felony gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated (DUI).
