Evening 2-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 18 in Phelan Injures One
PHELAN, CA (February 7, 2019) – A woman was injured following a two-vehicle collision Thursday evening in Phelan.
The collision happened around 7:49 p.m. on Highway 18 at Rochester Road.
According to a witness, a black Chevrolet Silverado tried to pass a vehicle when it hit a maroon Honda Civic on its driver side. The Silverado pickup truck then went about 20 feet off the roadway.
A female occupant in the Honda sustained injuries from the crash and emergency crews were immediately dispatched to give aid.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
No additional information was provided at this time. The full circumstances of the collision are under investigation.
