PHELAN, CA – One Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway near Highway 138

Late Evening 4-Vehicle Wreck at Cajon Pass Sends One to Hospital

 
PHELAN, CA (December 5, 2018) – One person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision late Wednesday evening at Cajon Pass.
 
The collision happened around 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of 15 Freeway and Highway 138. The vehicles involved were described as a U-Haul truck, a fire truck, a silver Infiniti sedan, and a white pickup truck.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but one occupant in the Infiniti was stuck inside the car and complained of back pain. Paramedics responded to the scene and took the patient to Desert Regional Medical Center.
 
The driver of the pickup truck reportedly hit the fire truck and took off.
