PHELAN, CA – Man Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 near 15 Freeway

Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide at Cajon Pass Leaving 1 Injured

 
PHELAN, CA (April 20, 2019) – A man was injured following a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Phelan, officials said.
 
To begin, the crash happened around 2:16 p.m., at the intersection of Highway 138 and 15 Freeway. First responders arrived just in front of a nearby gas station soon after.
 
According to reports, a white Toyota Tacoma and a yellow sedan collided for unknown reasons. A male occupant in one of the vehicles was also found bleeding as a result of the crash.
 
Paramedics immediately transported the injured man to Desert Valley Hospital due to the extent of his injuries. No further updates regarding the patient’s condition have been released at this time.
 
An investigation is currently ongoing to determine liability. Furthermore, updates will eventually be released once available.
