Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 in Petaluma Leaves Child Injured

 
PETALUMA, CA (April 25, 2019) – A child was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Petaluma.
 
The crash happened around 7:39 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 at East Washington Street on-ramp.
 
Six vehicles, including a flat bed truck, a dark van and a white Toyota, were involved. The van overturned from the impact and was blocking the slow lane.
 
As a result, one child sustained a minor laceration. Paramedics took the child to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
 
The precise circumstances that led to the accident remain unclear at this time. Further investigation is underway.
