Officers Respond to I-5 Traffic Accident

Bellingham, WA (March 8, 2023) – Just yesterday, a person sustained injuries following an Interstate 5 big rig collision.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 4:50 p.m. on the southbound freeway between Meridian Street and Sunset Drive interchanges.

Incident report stated that the collision also involved a motorcycle.

Right away, a medical unit transported one patient to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center.

Apparently, a southbound motorcycle rear-ended a southbound semi-truck trailer.

Officers are still investigating the I-5 traffic accident.
