One Dead after Berkeley Hit-and-Run Accident near Adeline Street
BERKELEY, CA (September 16, 2019) – A person died after a hit-and-run crash near Adeline Street on Saturday, September 14.
According to the police, the collision happened near the Ashby BART station.
Berkeley police Lt. Dave Lindenau said that they received a call at around 10:22 p.m. of a body beneath a car near the intersection of Adeline Street and Ashby Avenue.
Police responded at the area and found the victim on the street. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lindenau said there is not yet any description of the suspect’s vehicle. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
