CUSICK, WA (January 4, 2021) – Friday night, a person died in a hit-and-run accident on State Route 20 at Milepost 420.
 
According to WSP, a car traveling in the southbound lane of State Route 20 at Milepost 420 struck the pedestrian in the same lane.
 
Thus, responders initiated CPR and requested a Life Flight helicopter by 10:40 p.m. However, the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
By 2:30 a.m., the Washington State Patrol hasn’t identified the involved vehicle, nor the driver or the victim.
 
Also, they haven’t provided any details on the victim’s age or sex.
 
Spokesperson Jeff Sevigney added that they have no updates by 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Due to the limited information on the accident on State Route 20, the crash remains under active investigation.
