RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (January 5, 2021) – Sunday night, a person died in an alleged DUI crash on Highway 50 and Sunrise Boulevard.
 
According to CHP East Sacramento officers, the incident happened at about 8:00 p.m. Moreover, it took place on eastbound Highway 50 at the Sunrise Boulevard offramp.
 
As a result of the crash, responders took one person to a local hospital. Unfortunately, that person later succumbed to injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested another person on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
