Pedestrian Killed in Long Beach Accident
Long Beach, CA (July 21, 2021) – On Tuesday, a person died in 405 Freeway pedestrian accident.
Officers received the crash report at about 8:30 p.m. on the freeway’s southbound lanes at Lakewood Boulevard.
Reports said a vehicle crashed into the center divider, overturned and caught fire.
The vehicle stopped and a person got out of it. Then, the person attempted to run across all lanes of the freeway.
Unfortunately, the person was hit by a car and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the officers are still investigating the fatal incident.
