Person Seriously Injured in Loop 323 Hit-and-Run Collision [Tyler, TX]

Tyler PD Investigates Traffic Incident on 34th Street

Tyler, TX (March 4, 2023) – At about Friday midnight, a person sustained serious injuries following a Loop 323 hit-and-run collision.

According to authorities, the victim was at the side of the road changing a flat tire when the suspect driver side-swiped him with his vehicle near the intersection with 34th. 

A pedestrian found the victim and reported it to the authorities.

Responding officers found a vehicle that has damages consisting of that of the victim’s vehicle and the description of the crash about a mile apart from the initial crash location. 

Later on, Tyler PD identified the suspect and is working on a warrant for the suspect’s arrest on an accident involving an injury or death charge.
