Hesperia, CA (September 17, 2021) – On Wednesday, a passenger dies in a vehicle crash on State Route 173.

The fatal crash took place at about 5:33 p.m. at the intersection with Arrowhead Lake Road.

Officers pronounced the passenger dead at 6:28 p.m.

They withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
