Person Dies in Rear-End Crash on 14 Freeway [Agua Dulce, CA]

Agua Dulce, CA (June 15, 2024) – A person was killed in a rear-end crash on 14 Freeway early Friday morning.

The fiery three-vehicle crash happened around 1 a.m. on the northbound freeway and the Escondido Canyon Road off-ramp.

Police said one of the vehicles rear-ended the tow truck and rested under it.

Responding officers located the victim underneath the tow truck and declared them deceased while another person was rushed to a hospital with unknown injuries.

In the meantime, CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
