Person Dies in Midway Lane Hit-and-Run Crash [Bellingham, WA]

Bellingham, WA (May 6, 2022) – On Friday, a person sustained fatal injuries in a Midway Lane hit-and-run crash.

The authorities were sent to the crash scene at about 8:45 a.m. at the intersection with Hammer Drive.

When they arrived, officers found the victim dead at the scene.

Witnesses say they saw two people arguing nearby just before the fatal collision happened. They consider that one of them was the victim while the other was the driver.

Meanwhile, the Bellingham Police Department Spokesperson Lieutenant Claudia Murphy says they are searching for the public’s help in locating the dark Ford SUV which fled the accident scene.
