Pedestrian Accident on 101 Freeway Killed One Person
Los Angeles, CA (November 6, 2020) – On Thursday, a person died in a pedestrian accident on the 101 Freeway near Alameda Street.
The fatal incident was reported at about 4:50 AM in Los Angeles, California.
When officers arrived, they found a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle.
The authorities pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
Authorities did not provide details as to why the pedestrian was on the freeway.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for the closure of the northbound lanes. Traffic was taken off the 101 Freeway at Alameda Street.
The westbound 10 Freeway near the 101 Freeway was also affected by traffic delays due to the investigation.
Authorities canceled the SigAlert before 7 AM.
